In the interest of administration, the following
transfers and postings are hereby ordered with immediate effect:
1. Mr. Mohammad Yousuf Bhat, KAS, Chief
Executive Officer, Tourism Development
Authority, Sonamarg, is transferred and posted as
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag, vice
Mr. Ghulam Mohammad Dar.
2. Mr. Ravi Kanth, KAS, Secretary, J&K State
Electricity Regulatory Commission with additional
charge of Secretary, J&K Water Resources
Regulatory Authority, is posted as Secretary, J&K
Water Resources Regulatory Authority, on full
time basis.
3. Mr. Javed Iqbal Balwan, KAS, Special Officer,
Auqaf, is transferred and posted as Special
Secretary to Government, Consumer Affairs and
Public Distribution Department.
4. Mr. Aijaz Ahmad Bhat, KAS, Joint Director,
Industries and Commerce (S&M), Kashmir, is
transferred and posted as Joint Director,
Industries and Commerce (Development),
Kashmir, against an available vacancy.
5. Mr. Nisar Ahmad Wani, KAS, OSD with the
Hon’ble Minister of State for Revenue, Relief and
Rehabilitation, under orders of transfer as
Additional Secretary to Government, School
Education Department, is posted as Additional
Secretary to Government, Revenue Department.
6. Mr. Ali Afsar Khan, KAS, Additional Secretary to
Government, Home Department, is transferred
and posted as Additional Secretary to
Government, Industries and Commerce
Department.
7. Dr. Ravi Shanker Sharma, KAS, Additional
Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, is transferred and
posted as Additional Secretary to Government,
Public Works (R&B) Department.
8. Mr. Ghulam Mohammad Dar, KAS, Additional
Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag, is transferred
and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner,
Srinagar, against an available vacancy.
9. Mr. Bhawani Rakwal, KAS, Additional Secretary to
Government, Consumer Affairs & Public
Distribution Department, is transferred and
posted as Joint Director, Industries and
Commerce (Development), Jammu, against an
available vacancy.
10. Mr. Ashok Kumar Pandita, KAS, Joint Registrar,
Cooperatives (Hqr), Jammu, is transferred and
posted as Chief Executive Officer, Tourism
Development Authority, Surinsar-Mansar, against
an available vacancy.
11. Mr. Mohammad Yousuf Mir, KAS, Additional
Secretary to Government, Animal and Sheep
Husbandry Department, under orders of transfer
as Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Baramulla, is
transferred and posted as Joint Registrar,
Cooperatives (Hqr), Srinagar, against an available
vacancy.
12. Mr. Surat Singh, KAS, Additional Deputy
Commissioner, Udhampur, is transferred and
posted as Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Doda,
against an available vacancy.
13. Mr. Vikas Sharma, KAS, Deputy Chief Executive
Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, is
transferred and posted as Additional Deputy
Commissioner, Udhampur, vice Mr. Surat Singh.
14. Mr. Rajesh Kumar Shavan, KAS, Additional
Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar, is transferred
and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner,
Samba, against an available vacancy.
15. Mr. Abdul Hafiz Shah, KAS, Deputy Director,
Information (Central), is transferred and posted as
Joint Director, Industries and Commerce (S&M),
Kashmir, vice Mr. Ajaz Ahmad Bhat.
16. Mr. Dara Singh Kotwal, KAS, Programme Officer,
ICDS Project, Udhampur, is transferred and
posted as Deputy Commissioner, Commercial
Taxes (Stamps), Jammu, against an available
vacancy.
17. Mr. Nazir Ahmad Khwaja, KAS, Programme
Officer, ICDS Project, Anantnag, is transferred
and posted as Programme Officer, ICDS Project,
Baramulla, against an available vacancy.
18. Mr. Shafqat Iqbal, KAS, Deputy Director,
Information, Kashmir, with additional charge of
Joint Director, Information, Kashmir, is posted as
Joint Director, Information, Kashmir, on full time
basis.
19. Mr. Om Parkash, KAS, Deputy Secretary in the
Governor’s Secretariat, is posted as Additional
Secretary in the Governor’s Secretariat.

(HRM Branch) is posted as Additional Secretary to

(HRM) Branch).
21. Mr. Mohammad Qasim Wani, KAS, Deputy

against an available vacancy.

against an available vacancy.

49. Mr. Naseem Javid Chowdhary, KAS, Deputy

Education Department, is posted as Additional

Education Department.
50. Ms. Harvinder Kour, Registrar, Sales Tax
Tribunal, is transferred and posted as Deputy
Commissioner, Relief Organization (Migrants),
against an available vacancy.
51. Ms. Purnima Mittal, KAS, Secretary, Lakes and
Waterways Development Authority, is transferred
and posted as Programme Officer, ICDS Project,
Budgam, against an available vacancy.
52. Mr. Abdul Sattar, KAS, Special Assistant to
Hon’ble Minister of State for Science & Technology
and Information Technology, is transferred and
posted as Special Officer, Auqaf, vice Mr. Javed
Iqbal Balwan.
53. Mr. Pankaj Gupta, KAS, presently on deputation
to Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, is posted as
Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata
Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. He shall report to
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board on
completion of Shri Amarnathji Yatra i.e. on
25.8.2013.
The above arrangement is purely temporary and shall
not confer any right on the incumbents to claim preferential
treatment for their promotion, as and when the same is made in
accordance with the provisions of the Jammu and Kashmir
Administrative Service Rules, 2008. It shall also be subject to the
outcome of writ petition(s) pending consideration before any
competent Court(s).
Advance T.E. as admissible under rules is also
sanctioned in favour of the officers in whose case change of
station is involved.

    The controversy around Nestle's Maggi noodles has caused panic throughout the nation and it doesn't look like it will die down any time soon.

    After the initial test results by Uttar Pradesh Department of Food and Drug Administration (FDA) showed harmful levels of monosodium glutamate (MSG) and lead in Maggi, various states across India and even Bangladesh conducted tests on Maggi to find out whether the food product is safe or not.

    The controversy around Maggi has led to tests being conducted across the country.

    The entire controversy began when the UP FDA last month asked Nestle India to withdraw a batch of Maggi noodles "which were manufactured in February 2014" after it found high levels of added MSG, a taste enhancer, in the noodles and lead beyond permissible limits.
