It is notified for the information of those candidates who have missed their Height Measurement and Walk Test for the posts of Forest Guard (Forest Department), District Cadre Anantnag, (Item No 476) in pursuance to advertisement Notice no. 01 of 2011 dated 31-01-2011 due to some genuine reason are hereby directed to present themselves before the Committee for Height Measurement & Walk Test on 26th of March 2013, at Ground, Near, Club, Pahalgam, Anantnag at 09.00 A.M Sharp, failing which no claim / objection in this regard shall be entertained.

The other terms and conditions as mentioned in the above said notification shall remain same.


  1. 1.Candidates who have not qualified the Height Measurement Test need not to appear for walk Test.
  2. 2.Candidates are required to bring along a valid and widely accepted Identity Certificate / Document / Card for the purposes of identification of the candidates. Candidate are also required to bring along two recent passport size photographs attested at the front by a Gazetted Officer and name, parentage and address of the candidate attested by the Gazetted Officer at the back side of the photograph.
  3. 3.Cases of impersonation will be dealt strictly and legal action as warranted under rules will be initiated in case of impersonation.
  4. 4.All the eligible candidates will stitch their S.NO marked on a piece of white cloth of (3” X 3”) inches on their chest and back both.

  7. 7.SSP, Anantnag, with the request to spare the services of DSP, DR as already decided in the High Power Meeting Chaired by the Hon’ble Minster for Forests in which DGP was also present who has assured all possible help and cooperation.
  8. 8.Director, Radio Kashmir Jammu. He is requested to kindly broadcast the above said notification appropriately.
  9. 9.Director, Doordarshan Kashmir. He is requested to kindly telecast the above said notification.

    The controversy around Nestle's Maggi noodles has caused panic throughout the nation and it doesn't look like it will die down any time soon.

    After the initial test results by Uttar Pradesh Department of Food and Drug Administration (FDA) showed harmful levels of monosodium glutamate (MSG) and lead in Maggi, various states across India and even Bangladesh conducted tests on Maggi to find out whether the food product is safe or not.

    The controversy around Maggi has led to tests being conducted across the country.

    The entire controversy began when the UP FDA last month asked Nestle India to withdraw a batch of Maggi noodles "which were manufactured in February 2014" after it found high levels of added MSG, a taste enhancer, in the noodles and lead beyond permissible limits.
