altJPNN|Islamabad|Former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf appeared before the special court constituted to hear his case. Pervez Musharraf was not indicted during proceedings. The special court will announce its verdict on if the former president should be tried in a military court on Friday. More than more than 1,000 security officials were deployed from Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC) where Musharraf was admitted, to special court for his security. According to sources Musharraf left the AFIC on his own risk as doctors were not allowing him to leave the hospital. He signed the medical certificate himself for leaving the facility. Earlier,the Special Court had reserved its verdict for conducting treason trial of former president Gen. (retd) Pervez Musharraf under Army Act. Musharraf had been summoned by the special court on February 18. In the previous hearings the former military dictator had not appeared before the court but he could faces non-bailable arrest warrants if he failed to appear today. Agency
